because of the extra lag due to the larger turbos the 4.08's really get to do their job before all the power hits..it was very difficult with stock turbos and 4.08's to launch and punch it with out going all over the road spinning like crazy. with the 4.08's and big turbos I dont have to launch hard at all to get extremely fast 0-60 times. I just launch in 2nd at ~3krpms and just roll in the throttle and 0-60 comes up in under 4 seconds consistently. If I launch from 1st it is more difficult and my 0-60 goes to low-mid 4's because of the wheel spin once I hit ~15psi and the gear change required. 1st is really short w/4.08's and a 5 spd...a little over 30mph is about all its good for. Highway acceleration is simply stunning. I wouldnt want to go back to stock gears now..no way, this is way to much fun.
